I Love Anime : Sword Art Online
Introduction:
Sword Art Online (ソードアート・オンライン Sōdo Āto Onrain?) is a Japanese
light novel series by Reki Kawahara, with illustrations by Abec.
It is released as Both Anime and Video Game.
Story :
In the year 2022,Sword Art Online (SAO) is released which is a game that must be played with "Nerve Gear", a VR Helmet
that stimulates the user's five senses via their brain.
In this game, players can
experience and control their in-game characters with their minds.
But an
unexpected event occurs on November 6, 2022 when Akihiko Kayaba, the
creator of SAO, prevents the players from logging out.
Akihiko issues
them a challenge; if they wish to be free and log out of the game, they
must reach the 100th floor of the game's tower and defeat the final
boss.
However, if their
avatars
die in the game, their bodies will also said to be dead in the real world.
As the game's
10,000 players try to accept their challenges, Kirito, a
skilled player who tested the beta version of the game, is determined to
reach the 100th floor and be free.
Along with Asuna, his partner and
love interest, and their friends, Kirito and his allies will face many
obstacles, participate in other games, and discover the true
purpose of SAO.
Main Characters
Kirito
(Real name: Kazuto Kirigaya)
He is a "solo" player as well as a beater (stands for
beta tester and ch
eater),
a player who hasn't joined a guild and usually works alone.
Kirito is
also one of the clearers in SAO. When it is announced that the players
of Sword Art Online can no longer logout, he is surprised like everyone
else, but unlike everyone else he quickly gets over it and accepts it,
to an extent.
He mainly uses a one-handed sword "Elucidator" and usually
wears all black in-game, as it adds to stealth, and gives him his
nickname "The Black Swordsman"
(黒の剣士 Kuro no Kenshi?).
He can also use two blades at once, a unique skill to him and he only
uses it in emergencies to avoid attention for being one out of the two
people to have unique skills.
Asuna
(Real name: Asuna Yuuki)
She is a friend of Kirito and is a sub-leader of the guild Knights of
Blood (KoB), a medium-sized guild of about thirty players, also called
the strongest guild in Aincrad.
Being one of the few girls that play
SAO, and even more so that she's extremely pretty, she receives many
invitations and proposals.
She is a skilled player earning the Title
"Flash"
(閃光 Senkō?) for her extraordinary sword skill.
The KoB has assigned her two bodyguards, one of whom despises Kirito.

2022年，大廠牌電子機械製造商「ARGUS」開發出－「NERvGear」－能連結虛擬世界的機器。完全的
虛擬實境終於能夠實現。
主人公
桐谷和人是使用NERvGear遊玩「Sword Art Online」的玩家。很幸運的參與過
封閉測試，並買下正式版的和人，和正式營運就馬上「
完全潛行」的9千5百名玩家一起，享受著正式版的SAO世界。
但感動是短暫的，四小時多後，和人發現到封測時確實存在的「登出」指令竟然消失。
認為只是系統暫時出錯的和人以及開始陷入混亂的所有玩家一起被傳送
到開始地點廣場，但頭上傳來的不是等待許久的故障公告，而是自稱SAO遊戲設計者的「茅場晶彥」淡淡開始的死亡遊戲說明：不能登出是遊戲的正常現象，只有
打倒位於「
艾恩葛朗特」頂樓，第100層的
頭目－達成「完全攻略」－才是離開這個世界唯一的方法。
並且，在遊戲內Game Over或是嘗試脫下NERvGear，玩家會立刻被NERvGear發出的高出力微波破壞腦部而死亡。
因為恐懼的影響，最初的一個月內死亡人數就突破了2000人，然而玩家們終究習慣了這個「真實存在的異世界」，兩年後的今日，尚有6000名玩家存活，最前線已推進到第74層……
登場人物
桐谷和人
重度玩家。擁有超群的反射神經和洞察力，遊戲的才能被茅場晶彥評為最強等級。參加過限額1000名的SAO封測，在封測期間就非常投入遊戲。因為
完全潛行正式版的SAO而被捲入死亡遊戲，並以此為開端，牽扯進各種的虛擬世界事件。非常崇拜茅場晶彥，但這份崇拜因為被茅場晶彥關進死亡遊戲而混入了憎恨，變成一種很複雜的感情。
出生沒多久父母就因車禍去世，和人雖然也受了重傷但保住了性命，之後被桐谷家收為養子。6歲就會自己組電腦。10歲時就發現自己的電子戶口被修改
過並發覺自己的身世，令養父母十分驚訝。五官看起來像少女一樣纖細，態度卻非常冷淡，給人一種「捉摸不定」、「年齡不詳」的印象。
有因為自己而讓公會夥伴全部死亡的
心理創傷[註 1]，害怕擁有夥伴或與人扯上關係，在亞絲娜半強制的組隊下才慢慢克服。和亞絲娜心意相通後在系統上「結婚」，買下艾恩葛朗特22層的玩家小屋開始了新婚生活。ALO事件後和亞絲娜重聚，在現實世界也成為情侶。
在SAO世界是以攻略艾恩葛朗特最上層為目標，分類為「
攻略組」的獨行玩家，只裝備一把單手劍的頂級劍士。技能空格有12格，其中單手長劍技能、索敵技能和武器防禦技能已完全習得。喜歡裝備樸素但匿蹤效果高的黑色斗篷「午夜大衣」，因全身黑的造型被稱為「黑色劍士」。擁有全玩家中最高的反應速度而獲得獨有技能「
二刀流」.這件事曝光後，和
希茲克利夫同樣被當成擁有異次元強度的最強玩家。
亞絲娜
女主角，17歲。父親是大型電子用品製造商「RECT」的CEO，母親是某大學中的教授。
在SAO中除了是原本就不多的女性玩家外，更是在反映真實長相的SAO系統下擁有排名前五名美貌的美女玩家。其美貌和能擔任最強公會「
血盟騎士團」
副團長的實力，讓她是幾乎無人不曉的名人。為了避免沾上麻煩，血盟騎士團特別派了兩名護衛貼身保護，但本人卻不太喜歡的樣子。武器是細劍「閃爍之光」，能
使出連桐人也看不清的高速高準度連擊，而擁有「閃光」的稱號。因為個人興趣，料理技能已經完全習得，甚至以神農氏嘗百草的方式，成功合成出醬油與美乃滋等
數種調味料的味道。
以前曾陷入被人評為狂劍士的心理不安定狀態：一心只想早日脫離SAO而只把攻略遊戲擺第一，其他行動全部視為浪費時間，甚至還強制他人也全速攻
略。
但是遇到「活在」SAO裡的桐人後，改變了想法，回復原本開朗的個性，也喜歡上了桐人。
積極的追求後終於和桐人成为情侣，並在系統上「結婚」。
在桐人與希茲克利夫的最終決鬥中，超越了系統限制，在麻痺狀態下移動身體，捨身幫桐人擋下一擊。
